The terrorists are coming for you
With a title like that perhaps you think I am exaggerating. Well, I suggest you read the whole article and then make up your own mind. Or like some Jews before WWII you may decide it won’t be so bad.
WWII was 80 years ago and this article is about what is happening today but there is one theme that is very relevant. You have probably heard the expression, “It always starts with the Jews but it never stops there.” The sentiment is best expressed in Pastor Martin Niemöller’s famous poem.
First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me
Modern day terrorism
The vast majority of the world’s two-billion Muslims are peaceful people and they follow interpretations of the Qur’an that preach peace just as most religions do. Unfortunately, a minority follow extremist versions of the Qur’an which is filled with violence and preaches the elimination of all infidels starting with the Jews. Three-quarters of the organizations that Canada and the US list as terrorist are Islamist (followers of the extreme interpretation of Islam) or based in Muslim countries. Between 1979 and 2021 there were 48,000 Islamist terrorist attacks killing 210,000 people according to the Paris-based Foundation for Political Innovation. To be clear, very few Muslims are terrorists but of the various terrorist attacks over the last 40 years most were committed by Islamist extremists.
9/11 sparked numerous terror attacks in Western democracies
Al-Qaida’s audacious and unprecedented plan to hijack and fly planes into the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon resulted in the deaths of 3,000 people and it galvanized terrorists around the world. They saw how relatively few terrorists could cause untold misery. Attacks following 9/11 ranged from lone individuals using knives or vehicles to larger groups killing workers at Charlie Hebdo (Paris) to even larger attacks or bombs at theatres and other places with large groups of people (Manchester, London, Paris and Boston to name a few). The targets were soft and the attacks very hard to stop. It should be noted that none of the above attacks targeted Jews although there were also attacks on Jewish organizations. Nevertheless, security has been increased worldwide and intelligence gathering has stopped planned attacks before they could be carried out. Overall, the situation has improved but it is about to get worse, much worse.
October 7 has changed everything
On October 7, thousands of Hamas terrorists and ordinary Gazans who saw what was happening and joined in, slaughtered 1,200 innocent Israelis from infants to 85-year-old Holocaust survivors. It was done in the most brutal fashion with babies beheaded, burned in ovens, women and girls raped repeatedly, families tied together and burned alive, children killed in front of their parents and vice versa. They videoed the carnage and put it on social media. They bragged and laughed in the videos. In addition, they took 240 hostages to use as bargaining chips. More Jews were killed in one day than at any time since the Holocaust. Relative to the population it was 11 times the number killed on 9/11 in the US.
At first all Western leaders said that Israel had their support and should totally destroy Hamas but, as many of us knew, the support started to vanish very quickly. I believe and I hope that Israel will not cave in to pressure from the US and will ultimately wipe out Hamas, the terrorist infrastructure and the political leadership. However, my message is for all westerners who don’t want terrorism to spread, regardless of religion.
One of the most shocking things that followed after October 7 were the worldwide demonstrations in support of Hamas by students and others. Most of those demonstrating called for the destruction of Israel (that is what Palestine “from the river to sea” means.) Most couldn’t find Israel on a map. They are the progressive woke who have been brainwashed into thinking that the horrors of October 7 were a legitimate response to the evil occupiers of Gaza – Israel. Never mind that Israel left Gaza in 2005, 18 years ago, and Hamas has run the area ever since. Never mind that the suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza is entirely due to Hamas using billions in humanitarian aid to build hundreds of miles of terror tunnels, place rockets in hospitals, schools, mosques, etc. while the leaders of Hamas live in luxury in Qatar. So why should non-Jews or even Jews who don’t support Israel care? In short, because you will be next. Hamas got positive publicity beyond their wildest imagination: Demonstrations weekly in London with over 100,000 participants; Protests in elite universities in the US, Canada and Europe often accompanied by violence and destruction; A huge increase in anti-Semitic incidents. Terrorists and potential terrorists have seen this and they will be inspired just as they were by 9/11 and by ISIS. However, in the latter two cases, there were no mainstream supporters in the West as they are now. Certainly, most people in the west were horrified by the atrocities on October 7 and support Israel. However, most media are more woke/progressive than the average person and they move public opinion. So, we hear about the poor Palestinians and the need for an end to the war now. That, of course, will mean victory for Hamas and will only encourage more terrorist attacks worldwide.
Still not worried?
Of course, we won’t have another attack of the same magnitude as October 7 because it can only happen when there is a state controlled by terrorists beside a western country. Other than Israel, no western country would allow that to exist on its borders. I hope after this Israel will ignore western countries asking it to be much more vulnerable than they themselves would be. The never-ending double standard must end.
However, it does not have to be an attack the size of October 7. Numerous smaller attacks will be equally devastating. Now with the success of Hamas, they will be much more likely.
Where will the terrorists attack?
First, they will attack the US – the Great Satan. That is the home to the most woke progressives and it is where, under President Biden, 8 million undocumented illegal aliens have entered in the past few years. No one knows who they are or where they are. Many are economic refugees but if only 1% are terrorists that is 80,000! Already we know criminals of all sorts (murderers, rapists, drug dealers, sex traffickers, and more have been caught and that is only the ones who were discovered. Some of the illegals flew from far away to sneak in via the Mexican border. If they had the money and were legitimate, they could have entered the US legally. Who paid for their flights – Iran, Qatar with their billions of dollars for terrorism?
After the US, European countries that let in hundreds of thousands of undocumented “refugees” will be next. Canada will not be spared. With the longest undefended border between us and the US, and with underfunded security, some will certainly come over to find our very soft targets.
What can we do?
- First, e-mail/share this article with everyone you know, especially non-Jews.
- Second, write to your politicians to support Israel 100%. No threats of withholding military aid. No lectures about trying to spare innocent Palestinians. No country in the world does more to protect innocent civilians. Certainly, not the US who killed hundreds of thousands with atomic bombs in Japan. Certainly not the Allies in WWII who carpet bombed Dresden, Hamburg, Cologne and other German cities.
- Third, fight back against the woke progressive fools. Don’t donate to universities that do not speak out against the hate speech of the pro-Hamas students and professors. If hate speech is documented, professors should be fired and students expelled. Free speech is wonderful but hate speech is morally unacceptable and, in some cases, illegal.
- Finally, don’t vote for woke politicians and/or those who do not understand that if Israel does not totally destroy Hamas, it will be worse for the Palestinians and potentially all of us will be the next victims of the horrific carnage that Israelis experienced on October 7.
