The Hampstead election is just 4 weeks away and it is a crucial one with two starkly opposite visions.

After the last election I had no intention of running again but I never imagined the council passing a by-law to allow houses to triple in size in Old Hampstead or selling Northcote Park with no consultation, so two homes could be built there. I also never suspected the unbridled corruption that started immediately after I was gone.

If we are not for ourselves who will be for us?
Certainly not our elected council who have exposed themselves as being corrupt, greedy and self-serving with expensive trips to Europe, luxury hotel stays, fine dining, and a 40.5% salary increase for councilors.
